Join Master lampshade-maker Sarah O’Dea for a 3-4 hr workshop where you will design, make and leave with your very own stunning custom lampshade. These intimate workshops are held at Shady and the Lamp, her welcoming Dublin design studio.

Everything you need to make a Silk Fringed Drum Lampshade will be on hand, just bring your creativity and an open mind.

During these beginner-friendly workshops (max 4 participants) you will learn a variety of comprehensive techniques including; handling PVC, applying fabric, attaching ring-sets, understanding glues/ tapes/ tools, creating and tucking neatly rolled edges, trim and chainette fringe application.

Sarah will provide guidance and step-by-step instructions so by the end of the workshop, you will leave with your very own bespoke lampshade and the skillset to start creating many more beautiful shades.
